In January 2019, President James W. Dean Jr. announced four strategic priorities that will guide the university’s success, and help UNH achieve a bold, overarching aspiration – to be among the top 25 public universities in the country in the most important measures of academic performance. President Dean also identified the need to present this data in an easy-to-understand format for consumption by the University community and public at large.

Soon after, UNH IT partnered with  Institutional Research and Assessment and got to work. The team quickly developed a public-facing dashboard to acquire, analyze, and present metrics and data to support the President’s Strategic Priorities, and completed the project in under a month. This modern dashboard displays easy-to-understand data and details on where UNH ranks compared to other public institutions and contains the first metrics against which UNH will measure its goal of becoming a top university.
