SEED: Electronics Disposal

The Secure Electronic Equipment Disposal (SEED) program provides for the disposal of USNH technology equipment containing data storage including computers, mobile devices, portable drives, and hard drives. The USNH recycling vendor is certified in endpoint data protection and wiping to meet the requirements of USNH policy so that the computer owner need not wipe prior to equipment disposal.

SEED may also be used to dispose of any technology equipment containing circuit boards such as monitors, printers, peripherals, scientific equipment, and audio-visual equipment. Please check the Accepted Equipment List for types of equipment that cannot be disposed of via SEED.

If you still have questions about whether your item(s) qualify for the SEED program, please put in a ticket and a team member will reach out to you.
