Earlier today, there was a brief interruption of WiFi. To resolve the issue, we are systematically rebooting APs (access points) which may cause a brief, temporary loss of WiFi, ethernet access, or VOIP (Voice Over IP) phones. We thank you for your patience.

On Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, network administrators will be replacing the router in Plymouth that serves as a redundant gateway for the following customers:

  •     Merrimack County Sheriff's Office
  •     Star Island Corp
  •     Grafton County
  •     Merrimack County Nursing Home
  •     Lancaster Innovation center

This work notice is only for the sites listed above. There are no outages expected during the work window.

From Friday, June 7 at 3:00 PM to Sunday, June 9 at 5:00 PM, system administrators will be migrating Exchange public folders to Exchange Online. Public folders may not be available during this maintenance window.

Some locations within Thompson Hall are currently experiencing intermittent issues with VOIP (Voice over IP) phones and ethernet connections. 

System administrators have identified the issue and will be performing maintenance to restore service. Updates will be provided as available.

Issues with the Accounts Management System have been resolved.

The UNH Accounts Management System (AMS) is currently experiencing various issues, including users being unable to submit Sponsored User account requests.

AD password changes are also currently unavailable through the AMS. However, a workaround is available with technician assistance. If you need to change your password, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

System administrators are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

Kaltura has reported issues with some of their services. UNH system administrators have confirmed that this issue is impacting UNH's Kaltura services.

On Friday, 5/17, from 7:00AM - 9:00AM, electricians will be shutting power down to a large section of the Plymouth Campus, including a building which houses part of our wide area network. Power is expected to be down for at least two hours. During the electrical maintenance, our internet services will continue to run via redundant services. No downtime is expected.

UNH IT has received reports from our multi-factor authentication vendor that the issue has been resolved. We have monitored and confirmed that the issue is resolved.

Some users are experiencing intermittent and various issues when attempting to request a passcode via SmartAuth, our multifactor authentication system.

If you were able to request a passcode via SMS/text message, but the passcode was not delivered, please try requesting a passcode via voice.

System administrators are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. If you need assistance, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

UNH IT has received notice that some cloud web services are unavailable, including Box, Sharepoint, and other Microsoft Online programs such as Word Online. We will post updates when available.

UNH IT has been migrating all UNH faculty and staff email mailboxes to Exchange Online. Learn more about the migration here.

With over 80% of UNH Faculty/Staff email migrated to new cloud servers, the Web Email link on the UNH Faculty & Staff homepage has been updated to point to the new cloud servers instead of the old.

If your email has not been migrated you can still access your email online by going directly to https://exchange.unh.edu/.

WebIntelligence (WebI) will be unavailable from Saturday, April 27 at 6:00 AM until Sunday, April 28, at 9:00 PM, while patch 6 is added to WebI version 4.2 service pack 6. For more information about the upgrade, click here.
