Some users have reported problems connecting to UNH-Secure WiFi on certain devices.   System administrators are aware and working on the problem.

Some UNH Law users are receiving errors when trying to log into their UNH email. Errors include: "We do not recognize this Users ID or password" or "The user ID does not exist."

Box Inc. has released another update:

Box Engineers have reported that the impact of this issue also includes some users receiving http 500 responses returned through API requests, including document preview requests. We are continuing to remediate the impact at this time.

Box Inc. has released the following statement:

Box engineers have identified an issue where some users may receive an error message when logging into Box.

Some users at UNH have reported experiencing this issue. When available, updates from the vendor will be posted to unh.edu/it.

Some users are currently unable to log into the myUNH portal (my.unh.edu) this morning. While myUNH does not require users to login to use the system, some of the tasks on myUNH do require authentication.

Engineers have isolated the network slowness to two wireless zones and routed wireless clients away from those zones. Wireless clients should no longer experience poor download speeds but engineers are continuing to investigate the root cause.

The report of slow download speeds in the evening on the wireless network has been escalated with our wireless vendor, Aruba. The UNH and Aruba team meet at length on Friday to discuss next steps and several members of the team worked over the weekend collecting data. Tonight Aruba will have several engineers on campus to collect more data which can be analysis in attempt to isolate the issue.
 
UNH has been assured by Aruba support that this incident has been escalated to the highest level is receiving visibility from the company’s president.

UNH IT has identified an issue with the wireless network in some residence halls and academic buildings, predominantly during the evening hours. When network usage is at its heaviest, users in impacted buildings may experience slower download and upload speeds. 

UNH IT is working to resolve the issue. Updates will be posted on unh.edu/it as they become available.

Users are currently unable to login to Tegrity directly from https://unh.tegrity.com. This issue is being worked on with the vendor.

Some users are currently unable to access various UNH websites or servers. Multiple users have found that using a wireless connection (instead of a wired connection) restores accessibility. 

System administrators are aware of the issue and are working to resolve the issue.

The myUNH portal is now available. 

The service provider has notified and we have confirmed that all services have been restored to the myUNH portal https://my.unh.edu/. The cause for the outage was due to a DDoS attack on the AWS servers where our portal instance resides. Some users of the Parent Portal were experiencing issues when attempting to reset their passwords. The issue lasted approximately from noon on Tues. 6/27 to 1:00 AM on Weds. 6/28. Only some of the Parent Portal password resets attempted during this timeframe were impacted by the issue.

The issue has been resolved. If you experience any issues setting your Parent Portal password, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-84242.
