Robert Eckstein is a senior lecturer in psychology and justice studies who started teaching at the University of New Hampshire in 2004. The majority of his research and consultations is centered around gender-based violence. Although Dr. Eckstein has mentored many undergraduate research students, Jamie is his first mentee to published their work in Inquiry. One of the reasons Dr. Eckstein loves teaching is the opportunity it gives him to work with students who are passionate and enthusiastic about what they are learning, and he saw this in Jamie while working on their project. He shared that his experience working with Jamie was very satisfactory. Dr. Eckstein believes that Inquiry gives students an important opportunity not only to share their impressive research, but develop valuable skills in different styles of writing.
