     This session will explore social justice via personal and institutional lenses to analyze: power and privilege, discrimination and prejudice, inclusion and equity especially as it relates to one’s racial identity.

EXPLORING SOCIAL JUSTICE AND CULTURAL COMPETENCY - Spring 2020,  4 credit course, CRN:54961

This course cross counts with Women's Studies and Race and Ethnic Studies minors

This course uses adventure based activities to address social justice issues and cultual compentency.  Students will participate in an engaging "learning lab" where an activity-based approach and guided relfection are used to build community and foster awareness of social identity, oppression, privilege, allied behavior and action planning.  Read flyer for more information
