B.A. in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU)
Why did you choose to become a Hall Director?
In my time spent at CCSU I was very involved with the campus community. I was a resident assistant, orientation leader, and also served on the executive board of a few different clubs. For me, this was the best part of my undergraduate experience. I enjoyed meeting people from different backgrounds and trying new and exciting things. I helped build a community that has lasted beyond the 4 years of college. Continuing to foster positive relationships between students and building communities that last a lifetime is what brought me to continue my career in residence life.
Why did you choose to work for Res Life at the University of New Hampshire?
The first time I stepped foot on the campus at UNH I felt at home. Despite being such a large department, the reslife staff at UNH has a very tight knit family feel. They are extremely supportive of their students and work hard to create unique and positive experiences on campus.
What advice would you give to students?
I would tell students to live in the moment and experience as much as they can. Go try every new and exciting experience that the campus has to offer. Join a club or intermural; if there isn't one you like then try to start your own! Take advantage of the awesome opportunities that you have here at UNH and enjoy yourself!
