Why did you choose to become a Hall Director?
I became a Hall Director because I am passionate about the development and growth of others. I think it is safe to say that most of us think that we can accomplish everything on our own when we all, at some point, need the support of a team. Even the strongest superhero needs the help of a sidekick or community. Being a Hall Director gives me the opportunity to help build a strong and empowering community that is inclusive and driven.

Why did you choose to work for Res Life at the University of New Hampshire?
I would never have thought, coming from Florida, I would have found a home far away from home. The sense of community here at UNH is strong. I loved how the Res life department harped on the importance of building a community that is inclusive and engaging to all residents. I felt like my leadership skills and ability to motivate individuals would flourish the most being apart of the UNH Res Life team.

What advice would you give to students?
“It’s not that you can’t do it, it’s simply because you just haven’t tried it enough. Practice makes perfect.”
