I am originally from Long Island, NY. As a young child, I moved to Manchester, NH. I graduated from Manchester Central High School – GO LITTLE GREEN! I started my college career at American University in Washington, DC, and finished my BA in Communications at UNH-Manchester. Almost 10 years later I returned to UNH and earned my Master in Public Administration degree.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have one smart and beautiful daughter. I use pronouns She/Her/Hers. I love animals, both domestic and wild. I currently have a great rescue dog and 4 cats. I can be outside and find complete calm watching the birds and squirrels, and seeing the trees and flowers gently move in the wind. I love the beach and the lakes; but I also love to shop, eat out at a good restaurant, and see a good show. I live in the perfect state and location to be close to the things that make me happy.
Prior to working in Residential Life, I had a nearly 12-year career in Community Television. I’ve been witness to a lot of interesting events and people both behind and in front of the TV camera. I’ve got a lot of good stories. The one regret I have is that I didn’t keep a journal through the years.
I like to keep things clean and organized. I don’t even think about doing it. I guess I live by the saying, “a place for everything and everything in its place.” I find my habit to help a lot in a busy office environment. Most importantly I love to laugh! I love a good joke, a funny picture or a knee-slapping movie.
