APARTMENT PREP CREW - 35 Positions
APARTMENT PREP CREW- 35 positions
The Apartment Prep Crew will be hiring 35 dependable individuals to provide UNH students consistent superior customer service as well as a clean, healthy, safe and homey environment in the on-campus apartments for the upcoming academic year. We are looking for individuals, including Team Leaders, who are flexible, reliable and have a good work ethic and attention to detail. This crew is responsible for overall cleaning, painting, repairs, and grounds at the Gables and Woodside. Lifting is a significant part of the job.
Duties: Detailed cleaning of kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, all common areas, and carpets/floor care.
Duties: Move and assemble furniture and appliances in apartments and lounges. This job includes setting up rooms, moving furniture from one area to another, and organizing storage rooms throughout campus.
Duties: Inspect, remove, maintain, and repair furniture in Apartments and lounges. This includes minor carpentry repairs on furniture and facilities & preparing rooms for occupancy. Repairs are performed using basic hand tools.
Duties: Painting of areas within Apartments and common areas. Cover up major and minor marks on the walls, repaint walls and trim, and clean painting tools.
Duties: Rake, weed whack, mow grounds surrounding Apartments.
HOUSEKEEPING CREW - 6 positions
The Housekeeping crew will be hiring 6 dependable individuals to move furniture, clean windows and surfaces, and sweep/vacuum in preparation for incoming summer and fall occupants. We are looking for staff who are flexible, reliable, and have a good work ethic and attention to detail.
RESIDENCE HALL PREP CREW - 60 positions
The residence hall prep crew is a team of 60 hardworking individuals working on campus to prepare the residence halls for the upcoming school year. Split up between different areas on campus, prep crew involves everything from painting and furniture repair to moving furniture. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, reliable, work well with others, and have a strong overall work ethic. On the job training will be provided. Lifting is a significant part of the job. Duties could include a mix of the following areas:
Duties: Painting of student rooms and common areas within residence halls. Repair major and minor holes and marks on the walls, repaint walls and trim, and keep tools and supplies clean and in neat order.
Duties: Inspect and repair furniture in student rooms, common areas, and lounges. Job entails using basic hand and power tools to fix all types of furniture found in residence halls. Attention to detail and organization is desired.
Duties: Move and assemble furniture in student rooms and lounges. This job includes setting up rooms, moving furniture from one hall to another, and organizing storage rooms throughout campus.
