Short-term, goal-oriented individual counseling is available to assist you in managing your concerns. Students commonly seek services for problems with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship and academic problems; however, no problem is too big or too small to address in counseling. PACS provides a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to discuss these concerns and develop ways to resolve them. Brief counseling can be quite effective with college students, especially when problems are dealt with at an early stage. It is not unusual for significant change to occur in just a few sessions, even for problems that seem insurmountable on the surface. Many students find that frequent, long-term, or specialized services in the community are a more appropriate fit for their presenting problems and/or treatment goals. PACS' Case Manager is happy to assist students in finding community referrals.
