Healthy UNH works to enhance, support, and connect people to physical activity programs to foster lifelong well-being and empower community members to take ownership of their health. We do this by:

  1. Cultivating partnerships with campus organizations to enhance and support physical activity programming, infrastructure, and environment on all campuses;
  2. Promoting physical activity offerings on all UNH campuses; and
  3. Educating the UNH community about the benefits of lifelong physical activity to encourage active lifestyles.

Employee Fitness Program

The Employee Fitness Program is located in the Field House on the UNH-Durham campus is approximately 3,600 square feet in size. Exercise equipment includes an assortment of cardio machines, Nautilus strength stations, free weights, and a variety of core and balance training equipment. All faculty and staff are eligible to use the exercise facility, and although it is preferable that individuals enroll in the UNH Employee Fitness Program, it is not mandatory.

Campus Walking Guide

Use Google maps to help you track the distance you have walked on campus. The walking directional can pinpoint your exact walking routes around campus to let you know how far you are going.

Wildcat Workout Project

The program includes a series of 45-60 minute classes featuring a mix of cardio, strength training, core work, and flexibility training. Exercises and drills can be modified so everyone can participate. No equipment is necessary. Wear weather-appropriate exercise clothes and sneakers. Wildcat Workout Project is brought to you by UNH Athletics and Healthy UNH.
