What do you do to make a Healthy UNH? I always take advantage of the Puck and Stick open ice at the Whitt. It is a great way to stay in shape through a friendly game of hockey and to meet new people on campus. Also, I enjoy the meal exchange program at Union Court. It is easy to get a healthy meal there, and it's a great place to get some homework done.
Favorite Food: Chicken. There are literally thousands of the recipes, so I never get bored of eating it.
Favorite Movie: Good Will Hunting
Favorite Book: I read all the time, so picking my favorite book is a tough one for me! My top three would be: Of Mice and Men, Tuesdays with Morrie, and The Language of Flowers.
What place in the world do you most want to visit & why?
So far, I have checked off Italy, Spain, and France on my travel list. My next destination is Greece! I’m excited not only to learn more about the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle, but also to practice it everyday and take these experiences into the field of nutrition. Being able to communicate with people from different cultures and countries is vital to being a successful leader and dietitian.
Favorite Dining Hall and why: Hoco- because of the amazing omelet bar in the morning and stir-fry bar in the evenings.
What do you love about UNH? I love that there is always something to do on campus- whether it’s catching a hockey game, going for a run through college woods, or attending events in the MUB.
As a Healthy UNH Intern, what are you most excited about?
As a returning intern, I can’t wait to interact with students at our events throughout the semester. I’m excited to better my own writing skills and to promote all of the great programs UNH offers to students, faculty, and staff.
