What do you do to make a Healthy UNH? I always use a reusable water bottle and fill it at the filtered water stations. I also walk everywhere on campus, which helps me stay healthier and reduce my carbon footprint. Another thing I try to be very good at is recycling. All around campus they have recycle bins and I always try to separate all my garbage.
Favorite Food: One of my current favorite foods are sweet potato fries. I love making them then at home by dicing up sweet potatoes and frying them in a pan with vegetable oil.
Favorite Movie: I can’t say I really have one favorite movie, but right now I’m most excited to watch Now You See Me 2.
Favorite Book: My favorite book is Shell Silverstein’s, The Giving Tree. I used to read it all the time as a child.
Favorite Dining Hall and why: I live in the mills this year so my favorite dining hall is HoCo because it is so close to me.
What do you love about UNH? I was really nervous about coming to UNH and not knowing anyone, but I love all the friends I have made and all the opportunities UNH has given me in the past year.
As a Healthy UNH Intern, What are you most excited about? As a Healthy UNH intern, I’m really excited to help others try to be healthier and blog about it all. I want to inform and encourage others, and show them different ways they can live a happier and healthier life.
