What do you do to make a Healthy UNH? I try to pick out the healthiest foods while at the dining hall. The dining halls provide a lot ways to create a healthy meal. What I like to do most in order to stay healthy, is going to the gym group exercise classes. I love doing pilates, yoga, etc. If I can’t make it to the classes, I like to walk around campus. I always ask friends to join me for lunch or the gym, it’s a great way to relieve stress and have fun!
Favorite Food: Macintosh Apples
Favorite Movie: A Walk to Remember
Favorite Book: The Help
What place in the world do you most want to visit? Ireland
Favorite Dining Hall? I like Philbrook (Phily). I like how big it is. I can go around and take my time to look at the choices. I like how the food selection is placed in different rooms. It has plenty of sitting so I don’t feel overwhelmed by the people. My choice also depends on the menu of each dining hall.
What do you love about UNH? I love UNH because it provides so many opportunities for students. Between the majors and amenities on campus, they provide a lot that we all should take advantage of. Our campus may be huge, but it is beautiful!
As a Healthy UNH intern, what are you most excited about? I am excited to be a part of something that promotes healthiness and wellbeing on campus. I can’t wait to learn more about healthy options at UNH, and then share with others. I’m also looking forward to the opportunities that interning with Healthy UNH will provide.
