GLBTQQIA Education and Services

Students and employees who are GLBTQQIA (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, or Allies), will find a safe haven within Health & Wellness.   Education, a resource library, and online resources are available. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional charge. Students who have not paid the health fee have an additional charge. Education/information is free to the UNH Community.

How to Access

Transgender Health Care

Health & Wellness' clinicians provide standard exams (pap smear, breast exam, hernia test, prostate exam, etc.) regardless of gender identity or expression. Our clinicians can prescribe and/or administer hormones/anti-androgen. Blood test related to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) can be ordered by our clinicians and/or performed by our laboratory.

9 to 90 Documentary

The Center on Aging and Community Living  has a lending library which includes the film 9 to 90, which is a documentary about family caregiving. It can be utilized as a tool to help facilitate conversations with loved ones about aging with dignity in the modern age.
