Practicing Mindfulness & Meditation
Looking to be mindful and start meditating this semester? Try this new four-week program offered by Health & Wellness. This free program gives students the chance to practice different forms of meditation within a group, and individually. It also allows students to apply simple and easy meditation skills in their daily lives to help cope with everything this semester brings you.
There are many benefits of practicing mindfulness and meditation, especially for students. Some of these benefits include: a decrease in stress, anxiety, worry and depression, an increase in gratitude, empathy and compassion for yourself and others, an opportunity to reflect on your day and past experiences, improved academic performance, improved sleep and relaxation, and much more.
Try this program out for yourself to see the benefits it can have on your life! Register for this program on Health & Wellness and register for the four sessions, each held on March 29th, April 5th, April 12th, and April 19th.
