Learn How To Destress This Finals Season with Healthy UNH
Are impending finals causing you copious amounts of stress? According to the American Psychological Association, chronic or long-term stress can cause:
- Migraines and headaches
- Trouble breathing or increased asthma attacks for those with the disease
- Hyperventilation
- Elevated stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline, and noradrenaline)
- Elevated heart rate and blood pressure
- Acid reflux
- Gastrointestinal problems
These are many reasons to join Healthy UNH and other UNH students at Frazzle Free Finals! Each semester Healthy UNH holds de-stressing events in the Dimond Library, as well as other locations, to help students make their way through finals. This year Frazzle Free Finals will be held on December 11th and 12th all day long.
Both days, throughout the day there will be Furry Study Buddies, Puzzles, a Photo Booth and Music Breaks, all in the Dimond Library. Other events include coffee and cookies, yonola bar, and study snacks!
