This Is The Song Neuroscientists Believe Is The Most Relaxing.

Life can be very stressful sometimes. Whether you are worried about your next exam, the new deadline your boss gave you, or a family member being sick, you have a lot on your plate. While there are many techniques to lower your levels of stress, this tip might be the easiest.

Music can be the greatest help during times of stress. From listening to it, dancing to it, and even creating it, music can be very therapeutic and comforting. However, did you know there is a song researched and proven to be the most relaxing song?

Neuroscientists at Mindlab International in the U.K. discovered that Weightless by Marconi Union produced a greater state of relaxation in their study. In a study done by Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson, 35% of participants had either lower heart rates, blood pressures, or lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol. In fact, this specific song reduced 65% of the participants’ overall anxiety.

Marconi Union is a group who worked with sound therapists to create this song. They strategically arranged different rhythms and harmonies to place their listeners in a relaxed state of mind. This song can be so relaxing, the study showed drowsiness in some participants—neuroscientists advise against driving while listening to this song!
