Exercising While Getting All Your Holiday Stuff Done
Everyone is very busy during the holidays. Cooking, shopping, cleaning, or dancing - you might not realize you are already always on the move! You may be surprised to find out that when you are doing all of these things to prepare for the busy holidays, you are also getting your activity in for the day!
- Shopping - The average person burns around 300 calories while on a shopping outing! Get that holiday shopping and exercise done at the same time!
- Cleaning - Cleaning for guests coming to your house this holiday season? Cleaning your house can burn anywhere from 100-200 calories per hour!
- Dancing - Holiday parties often include dancing! Dancing burns calories while you are having fun! Don't have parties to go to? Turn on some holiday music and just dance around your house.
- Cooking - Slaying away in the kitchen can burn up to 150 calories per hour.
While preparing for holiday festivities, setting aside time to make it to the gym or to go for a walk might seem impossible. Don't fret, you are still being active doing everyday things around your house!
