For most people, it can be difficult to get to the gym everyday, or even a few times a week. However, we all know how important exercise can be to a healthy body and a healthy life. So, what's the solution?
According to Harvard studies, walking for 30 minutes a day, five times per week can better your health immensely. During the studies over 400,000 participants were tracked, and it was found that walking as little as 5.5 miles per week or as slow as 2 miles per hour showed improvements. Cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, angina, and heart failure, were reduced by 31% and the risk of dying is cut by 32%, simply by walking. This is possible because walking can reduce factors for cardiovascular events such as cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, inflammation, and mental stress.
As well as overall health, and lessened risk of death, walking can also:

- Help with regularity
- Motivate you to pursue more goals
Walking doesn't have to be a chore, like the gym can seem to be sometimes. Walking can be as simple as taking 20-30 minutes on your lunch break and finding a nice spot to walk.
