Looking for Something Fun and Challenging to do that is also Good for you? Check out the Rock Wall!

Are you stuck in a workout rut? I am. I tend to stick to the same boring routine every time I go to the gym.  I’m not sure why - Campus Recreation center offers so many opportunities ways to get active and have fun.

The Bouldering Wall is an 850 square foot wall full of different paths and fun ways to try to climb to the top! Free of charge, students are welcome to rent out climbing shoes from Outdoor Adventures. Climbing is a very beneficial exercise. Some of the benefits listed on the website of climbing are: 

  • Combines strength and cardio into a single workout
  • Tones muscles
  • Increases flexibility
  • Burns calories

Climbing is a great way to switch up your workout routine and have fun while exercising!  Try it today.
