Bring A Healthy Option To The Party 

Thanksgiving has now come and gone and Christmas, Hanukah, or Kwanza will be here before we know it! This time of year can be very hard to stay on track with eating healthy. Whether it's going out to eat with family that's visiting or holiday parties and gatherings, food is everywhere! Healthy options are few and far between when it comes to typical celebrations. Bringing a healthy food option to a party is an awesome way to help out the host as well as help your health! 
Here are some great healthy options to bring to your next holiday party! 

  1. Waldorf Salad - This beautifully delicious salad is full of fruit, healthy fats, and greens. Make your own dressing as well to add to its nutritional benefit! 
  2. Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Butternut Squash - This hearty veggie tray will please any guests at a party! Use heart healthy olive oil for even more added health benefits. 
  3. Healthy Gingerbread Cookies - What's a party without dessert? Whip up these delicious treats for any of your friends and they'll have no idea it's good for you too! 

Contribute to the food spread at a party while also secretly contributing to everyone's health! Eating healthy is important, but don't forget there is nothing wrong with indulging in treats in moderation. Treat both your taste buds and your soul this holiday season.
