The Importance Of Drinking Water

Your body is made up of 60% water.

Really? Then why is it so important that I drink so much water?

According to Medical News Today, there are multiple benefits to drinking water. Drinking water lubricates your joints, helps the body form salivia and mucus, helps deliver oxygen throughout the body, helps improve your skin, provides cushioning for your brain and spinal cord, regulates body temperature, helps you digest your foods, helps maintain a healthy and stable blood pressure, prevents damage to your kidney, and so much more. 

Most doctors recommend drinking between 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.

Need help increasing your H2O intake? Here are some tips:

  • Start a competition with friends to help each other reach your water goals
  • Stash reusable water bottles filled with water in multiple places so you'll be stocked up wherever you go
  • Set reminders on your phone
  • Listen to you body - it will tell you when it's time to drink
