Health Services Presents Eating Concerns Awareness Week!

Come Attend Events Pertaining to Eating Concerns and Body Image!
The week of February 21st-27th is Eating Concerns Awareness Week at UNH. This unique week is put on by the Eating Concerns Mentors (ECM) at Health Services.
ECM is a group on campus that provides students with mentoring and educational programs that educate and counsel individuals regarding body image, self-esteem and healthy living!
This week is held in order to raise awareness about eating disorders at UNH. In the US, around 30 million individuals (both male and female) suffer from an eating disorder.
A life sized Barbie is being put on display in Diamond Library in order to portray what Barbie would look like in real life. This version of Barbie also communicates how her proportions are unrealistic. This is just one event throughout Eating Concerns Awareness Week.
