Midterms are done! Are you traveling for Spring Break?

Spring break is the perfect time for students to relax, and hang out with friends.  Whether you are heading to the Bahamas, Cancun, or traveling to another sunny, fun filled destination, incorporate healthy eating into your vacation. 

Don’t forget to incorporate healthy eating on vacation. Here are some nutritional tips to be sure your body feels great:

  • Good snacks you can bring to the beach: fruits, vegetables and hummus, nuts
  • Stay hydrated!
  • Trail mix is a great snack for the hotel room or for the plane ride.
  • The junk food in the mini-bar in your hotel room is not your friend!
  • Visit the local farmers market; try something new!
  • Everything in moderation

USA Today suggests these 5 easy tips you should do on vacation. Additionally, take advantage fresh fruits and vegetables. If the restaurant portions are large, share with a friend.
