What Can Biofeedback Do For You?

How Biofeedback Can Help You Destress

The year is flying by, but stress always seems to be present. Too much stress can lead to lack of sleep, feeling tired, anxious, or even depressed. However, there are many ways to combat stress and one of them is called biofeedback.

Biofeedback is a technique that uses electrodes attached to your skin to measure your heart rate, skin temperature, and breath rate. The biofeedback therapists then uses these results to help teach you breathing, meditation, and relaxation exercises that will help lower your stress levels.

This type of therapy has been shown to reduce stress, increase energy levels, promote better sleeping, improve concentration, and improving health and overall well-being!

UNH employees can take advantage of biofeedback at Health Services for free.  Just set up an appointment and attend your first session.
