3 Ways To Stop the Stigma

Stop the Stigma

Stop the Stigma is an organization at the University of New Hampshire whose mission is to spread awareness and educate the UNH community about mental health and suicide.

Here are a few ways to stop the stigma:

1. Learn about mental health because the only way you can spread awareness and educate others is if you learn the facts first.

2. Another important step to raise awareness is to start the conversation! Once people start talking about mental health it makes it easier for those most affected to seek and find help.

3. Take action by spreading the word and raising awareness because by doing so you WILL make a difference! Step up and be a leader by encouraging others in your community to support the importance of mental health.

If you or anyone you know is looking for help or a way to get involved the Stop the Stigma organization at UNH would love to have you at their weekly meetings.
