Do you make the time to do things that are enjoyable and beneficial to your overall health and wellbeing?

UNH offers various forms of massage therapy to not just students, but also employees!

The Office of Health Education and Promotion through Health Services highly promotes massage therapy as a way to improve an individual’s overall health. The website defines massage therapy as a form of bodywork that is used to improve function within the body, and it promotes relaxation and improved circulation. There are many specific benefits of massage therapy, and some of these benefits include:

  • Prevents future medical issues
  • Relieves muscular tension and relaxes muscles spasms
  • increases flexibility and strength of joints

Massage therapy is a quick and relaxing way to relieve stress and improve your physical health. UNH offers massage therapy at discounted prices for students and staff members. Current employees can receive a traditional massage for $50, and a hot stone massage for $60!

Massage therapy is one of the oldest forms of health care available, and it is a simple way to improve your overall health and wellbeing. You can easily schedule an appointment through the Health Services Website for either a traditional or hot stone massage.

To find out more information about the different types of massage therapy, or to discover related programs that UNH offers, check out the Office of Health Education and Promotion website!
