Did you Know That There is an Employee Health Clinic?

UNH Health Services Offers a Medical Center for Staff Members as well as Students
The University of New Hampshire’s Health Services Center is a great place to go whenever you are sick or need medical advice. It offers students the ability to refill prescriptions, get x-rays, and a plethora of other medical services with the convenience of being centrally located on campus.
In order to provide for the well-being of its faculty and staff, the University of New Hampshire offers an employee clinic which is located on the rear end of the Health Services Center (4 Pettee Brook Lane). This clinic provides a cost-effective alternative for not just employees, but their dependents ages 18 and older, who are looking for convenient, high-quality services. The clinic is staffed by board-certified physicians and licensed clinicians and offers a variety of services:
- Care for acute infections
- Treatment of acute injuries and other acute problems
- Laboratory, radiology, and pharmaceutical services
- Massage therapy
- Light therapy
- Biofeedback for stress management
The clinic is open Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. when classes are in session. While walk-ins may be seen, it is recommended that you make an appointment either online or by phone. UNH Health Services is a participating (in-network) provider with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, so any co-pays for members will be $10. Insurance plans are able to be billed, but reimbursement will depend on your individual plan.
Your privacy is considered with the upmost importance, which is why the Employee Clinic has its own space within Health Services, including its own waiting room and entrance. Come in, check it out, and see the benefits of using the Employee Health Clinic!
