Did you know UNH has a state-approved Travel Clinic for academic, professional or personal travel?

Winter months in New England can get harsh at times and this encourages many families and individuals to make travel plans to a warmer destination.

Here at UNH, Health Services offers resources and immunizations at their Travel Clinic to make sure our UNH community stay healthy while traveling. Whether it’s for work, academics, or pleasure, it is important to be health conscious while traveling.

It is recommended that you visit the Travel Clinic approximately four to six weeks before your trip. It is open during the academic semesters and the website resources are available 24/7.

On the website you can find a list of immunizations provided by the Travel Clinic, a link to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. State Department travel information, and other great health and travel resources. Both faculty and students can make use of these services.

Depending on your destination, the Travel Clinic may recommend immunizations, safety precautions, and tips for staying healthy before, during and after your travel.

The Health Service Travel Clinic webpage will help you explore resources and find a number to set up an appointment. Remember to stay healthy wherever you go!
