With flu season right around the corner, it’s important to do what you can to prevent yourself from contracting the virus. The UNH Durham flu clinics have been scheduled for different locations, days and times to give flexibility for employees to attend. Find all the details on this Human Resources site.

The Health Services location offers limited free parking to employees on a first com-first serve basis.

The type of flu virus changes from year to year, causing experts to create a new vaccination annually. Flu shots typically prevent against three different flu viruses to help insure that individuals are properly protected from the year’s new strain of virus.  Getting vaccinated is definitely the most reliable way to reduce your chances of contracting the flu. More information on seasonal influenza can be found on the Center for Disease Control’s page. Not only are you helping yourself by getting the flu shot, but also you are helping others since you will be less likely to pass it on!
