PACS Virtual Care Package
Resources To Check In On Mental Health
Those who have lived on campus can probably agree that getting the notification from the Granite Square Station that a care package has been delivered for you can be incredibly exciting. This is especially exciting if the care package is unexpected.
Recently, Psychological & Counseling Services (PACS) has decided to created a care package of their own for Wildcats. This is virtual and is "packed" with fun and helpful resources for all students, faculty, and staff. In this PDF document, you will find a guide on how to make a telehealth appointments with a counselor for individual counseling. There is also a list of both on-campus and online resources for Wildcats to use to take care of their mental health and well-being, including an anxiety workbook, a coronavirus toolkit, and free guided meditations.
One of the coolest things in this virtual care package is information about WellTrack, which is an app that offers different tools to help people address stress, anxiety, and depression. Best of all, it is free to all students, faculty, and staff.
There are going to be many changes to campus this semester, and a lot of uncertainty, but there are so many new resources on campus to help us take care of our mental health. Reaching out to a friend, RA, hall director, professor, PACS, or Health & Wellness can be a start to taking care of our mental health. If you feel alone, know that you are not; we are all Wildcats together.
