Do You Need Help Handling What Life Throws at You?

Are you feeling overwhelmed at work and in your personal life?
Are the daily struggles of life weighing you down? Are you going through a major change in your life that you need to talk to someone about?
The University System of New Hampshire offers ALL employees the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is provided by APS Healthcare and offers a variety of services that are free for UNH Employees. Some of the services include the following list:
Counseling Services: This service is available for UNH Employees and their dependents that feel they need someone to talk to about issues in their life. This includes phone calls with a professional counselor who can refer you to a local counselor at not cost.
Family Caregiving Services: Information and referrals are given on a variety of family issues such as prenatal care, or daycare services.
Legal Services: Consultations or phone calls are available if employees have any questions about legal matters.
Financial Services: A consultation with a professional is available if employees need any financial advice.
Convenience Services: Referrals can be made for a variety of services such as traveling, dining, car repair, etc. These referrals can help get you the most for your money.
Management Consultation Services: These services are provided for those in a leadership position that want feedback, or has performance concerns.
