Internships at Health & Wellness
Our internship program supports the academic mission of the University by providing students opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to practical work experience. We offer a variety of internship opportunities each year that may be suitable for students across many academic disciplines.
Information sessions
Information sessions, which we strongly recommend interested applicants attend, are scheduled in the spring semester. Placements are made before the academic year ends.

Placement
- PLEASE NOTE: If you are seeking academic credit, this must be arranged through your academic program
- Internships are available to UNH students who have appropriate experience, background and interest
- We are looking for students who can commit to a full year internship (fall and spring semester)
- We do not offer internship opportunities during the summer or semester breaks
- In most cases, we can work around your academic schedule
- We will provide you with an internship supervisor who will:
- Provide appropriate training
- Meet with you weekly for supervision
- Work with you to develop a learning contract that outlines credit hours, responsibilities and placement goals and objectives
- Provide ongoing feedback and you will be evaluated at mid-placement and at the completion of your placement
