Telehealth Clinical & Wellness Education/Counseling Services
UNH Health & Wellness is pleased to offer telehealth sessions to address any non-emergency health concern, question, or wellness education/counseling need you may have. Our telehealth service allows for an audio/video consultation with a Health & Wellness staff member at a date and time convenient for you.
Services Available Via Telehealth
- Non-emergency medical appointments with a Health & Wellness clinician or Health Resource Nurse
- Wellness Coaching
- Alcohol, Nicotine, & Other Drug Education/Counseling (mandated and non-mandated)
We use a secure version of Zoom to provide tele-health services; you may be prompted to download the Zoom application on your phone or computer.
UNH Health & Wellness tele-health services are covered by your student health fee. There is no additional fee for using tele-health services.
4-Week Online Self-Compassion Class
Wednesdays, June 3 - June 24, 2020
12:00pm - 1:30pm
The ability to be kind to yourself will help you feel better in all areas of your well-being. In this class, you'll be introduced to the science behind self-compassion and will practice ways you can offer yourself more tenderness to navigate difficult times. There will be opportunities for personal reflection and sharing with other classmates. Suggested practices to do throughout the week to enhance your learning and personal growth will be provided, including suggested readings.
Open to all UNH students & employees. If you are part of the wider UNH family including alumni, family members of UNH students, or Durham community members, you can email email@example.com to inquire about joining the class.

Ask a Health Clinician: COVID-19 Question & Answer Service
UNH Health & Wellness clinicians are available to assist with questions about COVID-19 and how members of the university community can best respond to the concerns of fellow faculty, staff and students. Please send questions with your contact information (name, email and phone number) to HW.COVID19@unh.edu. A physician will email or call you, usually within the same day.

Our Living Well Services staff is still available to provide many of our Wellness Education Programs for classes, student organizations and other groups via Zoom. Programming topic areas include: Alcohol, Nicotine, & Other Drugs; Communication; Financial Management; Sexual Well-Being; Sleep; Stress; and Wellness. If you have a program/topical idea in mind we can sit down with you to discuss your ideas and design a program that is tailored to your specific audience and goals.
