International Education Week 2019 was a resounding success; check our global website for the complete schedule. The week kicked off on November 2 with the 9th Annual UNH Powwow; our own Native American Cultural Association once again put together a full day of art, music, and community building to celebrate Native cultures and peoples. On Sunday, a large group gathered on Memorial Field to try the game of cricket and then watched a match by seasoned players. The work week featured panels by Friends Forever International, OISS staff, international students, Zen lecture and teas and coffees, a chance to make tortillas and quesadillas (with instructions in Spanish), and authentic Chinese lunch items in the main dining halls. To wrap things up, the week ended with a pub night of international trivia, a movie, and a Peking Opera performance. View photos below to see what you missed!
