International alumnus Thomas Kroll, originally from Tanzania, graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He was a resident assistant in Fairchild Hall, home to many international students, for two years. He was fortunate to share wonderful experiences with people from all over the world, even trying improv when encouraged by one of his residents. He found a great family-like community here at UNH, facilitated by OISS and OMSA.
Currently, Tom is pursuing his PhD in aerospace engineering at the University of Minnesota, researching computational fluid dynamics. He credits the UNH curriculum in helping him get where he is today. UNH Professor Martin Wosnik was essential in broadening Tom's understanding of fluid dynamics and its application to the real world. Read more about Thomas Kroll >>
