Mike started his ocean career as a sonar technician on U.S. Navy submarines. After leaving the Navy, he spent some fifteen years in industry working as a Project Engineer for naval and defense related projects. Mike worked to develop RF couplers for the Navy’s E-2 Advanced Hawkeye AWACS aircraft for Putnam RF Components. As a Project Engineer he headed production of the Mark 30 Mod 2 Target Underwater Vehicle (TUV), the Shipboard Stowage Cradle System for the AN/WLD-1 Remote Mine-hunter Vehicle, components and assemblies for Foster-Miller’s Sword/Talon Combat Robot, and was the primary Hydrostatic Test Engineer for submarine and underwater vehicle components at Granite State Manufacturing. He also specializes in technical documentation and engineering configuration management. He is currently finishing a BS in IT - Robotics /Artificial Intelligence and a BA in Communications – Professional Writing at Southern New Hampshire University.
