Knowledge, skills, and approaches to successfully lead and enhance the climate in an academic organization.
The Academy is currently facing unique challenges for which leadership plays a critically important role in successfully meeting these challenges. Advancing Academic Leaders (AAL), a leadership development program designed to support the continuous growth of leaders -- department chairs, program directors, coordinators and other academic leaders -- is a 4-session interactive program that highlights the knowledge, skills and approaches to successfully lead and enhance the climate in an academic organization. Participants must commit to attend all four sessions. This leadership program builds on the successful Advancing Chairs as Leaders program (2016-18).
The Office of Engagement and Faculty Development in cooperation with the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics and UNH Advance is offering this faculty development program to build the knowledge, skills, and tools of academic leaders.
