Graphic Designer

Northglenn, CO (10 minutes north of Denver)

   national natural meat company with offices in Northglenn, Colo. is looking for committed, energetic team player who supports family farming, sustainable agriculture and great tasting meat products.

 Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Visually represent the voice of the brands through external and internal communications.

Support Creative Director through both production graphics and original design.

Follow established brand standards and carry out design tasks assigned by the Creative Director.

SPECIFIC TASKS:

Production and/or original design including, but not limited to: packaging, sales materials, in-store POS, trade show materials, promotional items, corporate collateral, advertisements, web, social media, photography, and video.

Work with vendors to keep orders moving along.

Assist with inventory and tracking of POS materials.

Update content on web sites for both brands.

Assist with photo shoots, both in-house and off-site.

Maintain inventory, par levels and order history for all POS materials.

Manage digital library of sales materials for sales directors and distributor partners, through cloud server, ensuring all materials are constantly updated to reflect current versions.

Maintain digital asset library.

Fulfill logo and design requests received from the sales team and customers.

 Qualifications:

MINIMUM POSITION EXPERIENCE:

Education: Degree in graphic arts or multimedia design.

Experience: 1-2 years of graphic design experience AND/OR strong portfolio of student AND/OR professional design work showcasing design abilities in print and electronic communications.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong creative and artistic graphic design skills.

Ability to follow direction and accept constructive feedback.

Eagerness to learn and grow skills.

Excellent time management and organization skills.

Must be able to manage multiple projects in a rapid paced environment.

Must be able to work independently and also collaboratively.

Meticulous eye for detail.

Experience designing within parameters of brand guidelines.

Basic knowledge of printing processes and production.

Basic photographic, typography, color experience and retouching skills.

Strong knowledge of Mac software programs with mastery of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

Extensive experience using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

High ethical standards.

Ability for minimal travel.

 Salary: $30-40K
