Join our team of progressive food education innovators at FamilyCook Productions. We are a non-profit organization providing highly effective farm-to-fork programs for pre-K tots through high school and beyond.  We disseminate this edible nutrition education to schools, farms and community organizations nationwide.  


Position Description:

This is a client interaction and administrative position that is critical to the organization’s daily operations.  The ideal candidate is passionate about food and cooking, comfortable in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly, and excited to help build a strong, fun, team-centered environment.  Self-motivation and a positive attitude are essential for this role that could become be a springboard to other roles.  The position is an excellent opportunity for a career changer with strong business and administrative skills who is interested to move into a food-related career involving nutrition.



Exceptional organizational skills

Strong computer skills, especially with Mac OS

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Quickbooks proficiency, or the willingness to be trained

Excellent inter-personal skills to be first point of contact for clients

A real passion for food and nutrition

Ability to multi-task and deliver

Great attitude & team player



Supporting the FCP founder with daily tasks and projects

Interfacing with clients to provide support and to schedule trainings & equipment ordering

General administrative duties - filing, organization, answering phones & scheduling events

Maintaining the website/company blog to keep content up-to-date and accurate

Basic bookkeeping duties - writing checks, maintaining A/P & A/R records

Invoicing clients for trainings and annual license renewals

Ensuring continuity of company insurance policies, online service subscriptions, and regular payroll ordering

Occasional event planning and support


Compensation – Full time position, salary commensurate with experience, health benefits offered, lunch provided daily
