Position Description

The Garden Intern refines his/her garden management skills while engaging in the day-to-day responsibilities of an educational garden. Under the direction of the Garden Manager & Teacher (GMT) and other garden teachers, the Garden Intern is mentored in the practical skills and philosophy of The Edible Schoolyard (ESY).  This is not a teaching position.

 

Paid Tech Intern

Julie Negrin, M.S., has been a cooking instructor, certified nutritionist, and program developer for over 15 years. She designs and executes wellness educational programs, gives nutrition and culinary presentations, leads training sessions and teaches e-Courses to professionals. She focuses on cooking, health, nutrition, and obesity prevention.    

AmeriCorps Vista

Healthy Cooking Instructors

The Hudson Valley Hospital Center is looking for experienced chefs and dieticians to contribute to healthy cooking programs in the new teaching and demonstration kitchen. Located in Westchester County, HVHC is committed to promoting local & healthy eating as a path to better nutrition and a more robust lifestyle. The teaching kitchen will host a variety of cooking classes for patients and the community. HVHC is recruiting instructors to help develop and/or teach classes.
