Americorps Vista Anti Hunger Opportunity Corps

The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) is seeking a Program Officer for its Food Communities & Public Health (FCPH) Program. The program includes multiple projects involving the provision of technical assistance and working in close collaboration with organizational partners. In addition, the program builds upon strong relationships with a range of partners in the NGO, public health, community-based organization, and academic communities to improve food environments, increase access to healthy food, and inform food and nutrition policy.

Harlem Grown Summer Camp Counselor

Harlem Grown’s mission is to inspire our youth to live healthy and ambitious lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition. Harlem Grown’s Summer Camp engages children in Harlem, ages 5-13, in gardening, healthy eating, cooking, composting, environmental science, arts and crafts, and recreational activities. The Summer Camp enables these children to discover nature in the urban environment and participate in hands-on, fun, outdoor experiences.
