Farmer/Educator

EarthDance Organic Farm School runs a variety of programs to educate all ages about organic farming and gardening, permaculture and sustainability. Our flagship program is our Farm & Garden Apprenticeship program, in which 25-35 adults take classes and do 8 hours a week of hands-on education and training on the farm. We run a paid job training program for Ferguson teens, engage students in a vocational program from the school district, host field trips and volunteers, and host neighborhood children in summer programs with seniors to encourage healthy habits.

FoodSafety Coordinator

Equal Exchange is hiring a Food Safety Coordinator, responsible for ensuring that Equal Exchange’s food safety programs meet or exceed all federal, state, and local food safety regulations to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone in our supply chain: farmers, workers, and customers.

This is a full time, worker-owner track position based in West Bridgewater, MA, with occasional travel to Equal Exchange warehouses, suppliers, and co-packers.

Farm to School Coordinator

The Farm to School (F2S) Coordinator will work as an integral part of Food Roots programming. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the F2S Coordinator will be responsible for daily implementation of Food Roots Farm to School program and include ongoing program development, implementation, evaluation, and include some program budget management. The F2S Coordinator will work closely with the ED, Community Food Programs Coordinator, FoodCorps and Americorps VISTA members.

Summer Youth Program Team Leaders

Hiring 2 Summer Youth Program Team Leaders!
Common Good City Farm seeks two well-rounded individuals with youth development backgrounds to help lead our fifth annual SYP. The SYP Team Leaders are responsible for implementing all aspects of the 6-week Summer Youth Program under the direction of the Executive Director and with the support of the Farm Manager. This position requires dedication and skill in connecting with youth from diverse backgrounds, creativity, flexibility and commitment to the mission of CGCF. The position is 30 hours/week for 7 weeks.

Assistant Educator

Land’s Sake seeks an Assistant Educator with a flexible schedule.  The person in this position must be able to work from 10 to 30 hours per week through November, with seven weeks of full time work in the summer. Occasional nights and weekends are required in this position. The Assistant Educator will be responsible for assisting with farm-based education programs for schools, after-school programs, events, tours, family programs, and summer programs, and outreach programs.

 Assistant Educator will also act as the Green Power Leader during the summer.

The Youth Garden Project (YGP) is a non-profit organization in Moab, UT with the mission of cultivating healthy children, families, and community through educational programs and the profound act of connecting people with food from seed to table.

Program Manager

The Children’s Aid Society (CAS) helps children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive supports to children and their families in targeted, high-needs New York City neighborhoods.  In 2003, CAS launched a number of programs aimed at preventing and slowing the rates of childhood obesity in the communities we serve. The programs come together under the umbrella of Go!Healthy, a comprehensive obesity prevention and health promotion initiative that engages children from birth through adolescence, as well as parents and staff.
