About The Seed Farm:

Assistant Farm Manager and Interns

The Lord’s Acre grows food and gives it away but exists to put itself out of business. In order to get there, our goal is to grow food and community in order to eliminate hunger. We are known for thinking deeply about our work and for growing 9 – 11 tons per acre annually of fresh organic produce that we distribute locally through four very different sites: at the local food pantry where we run a beautiful market table, at a share market where we run a produce stand, at a pay-what-you-can-if-you-can weekly meal and to a culinary training program for those with barriers to employment.

Garden Manager and Permaculture Educator

Pickards Mountain Eco-Institute is currently seeking a qualified part-time Permaculture Educator & Garden Manager to join our team. This person ideally has a background in sustainable and organic farm management, a desire to share their knowledge and experience farming with others, a deep love for the natural world, and should feel aligned with the mission of PMEI. The garden manager will work closely with other PMEI staff, and will be under the direct supervision of the Executive Director.
