Vegetable Harvest Manager

Brookford Farm's vegetable crew is seeking an Harvest Manager. 

We manage ~35 acres of organic vegetables for distribution to a 270+ member CSA, wholesale markets and restaurants, and farmers markets. We are one department on a 'full diet' 650 acre diverse organic farm, and with a myriad of native tongues among our staff including French, Swahili, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, German, and Californian, our farm proudly reflects the strength of cultural and agricultural diversity.

Crew Member - Greens & Herbs Focus

Letterbox Farm is a collectively-owned and operated farm in Hudson, NY.  We are a successful start-up farm heading into our fourth season. For the 2016 season, we will be raising 2.5 acres of vegetables, greens, and herbs, 3000 broilers, 500 laying hens, 25 hogs, 500 meat rabbits.  We market our goods through two high-traffic farmers markets, a small full-plate CSA, and about a dozen core wholesale and restaurant accounts.

Farm to Table Garden Program Internship

The Sylvia Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire children to eat well through hands-on learning experiences on the farm and in the kitchen. Through our programs, children learn what fresh food is, how delicious it tastes, and how to prepare it for themselves and their families.  In our Learning Garden, outdoor kitchen on Katchkie Farm, and in local schools and community centers, we teach skills that inspire children to establish independent healthy eating habits – so that they may lead healthy and productive lives.

 

Livestock Apprentice

Glynwood is an agricultural non-profit organization with a mission to ensure that farming thrives in the Hudson Valley. The organization is based on a working farm located in Cold Spring NY in the lower Hudson Valley. The farm engages in a number of pursuits including raising a diversity of animals, a vegetable CSA and composting.
