Swipe it Forward is a program for UNH undergraduate and graduate students who are challenged by food insecurity to simply and confidentially request and receive meal swipes for use during the academic semesters at any of the three dining halls or as a Meal to Go or Meal Exchange. This program exists thanks to ongoing financial support from UNH staff, faculty, students and the community. Donations can be made in a variety of ways including credit card, cash, payroll deduction and donating swipes.
Feed a need: Hunger and food insecurity on Campus
- Have you ever cut the size or skipped meals because there was not enough money for food?
- Did you ever eat less or have been hungry, but didn’t eat at all because there was not enough money for food?
Students with unmet basic needs such as food can have difficulty learning, be less likely to achieve academic success and are vulnerable to health concerns. Many students may struggle with asking for help. If you answered YES to any of these questions please request meal swipes.
