2018 Summer Meal Plans

Summer meal plan options are designed to offer value and convenience for those on campus during the summer months.

Dining hall summer meal service begins on May 21, 2018 and ends on August 23, 2018. Holloway Commons Dining Hall will offer meal service during the week Monday through Friday from May 21 to July 6 and on the weekends starting Saturday, July 7. We are closed for Memorial Day, May 28 and the 4th of July.

Centrally located Holloway Commons, “HoCo” is the largest dining hall at UNH and features many individual food stations where fresh items are prepared right on the spot. Favorites include stir-fry and brick-oven specialties, delicious soups and sandwiches and specialty salads. Enjoy our new seating area and spectacular views of campus!

Summer Meal Plans Options

200/ 150 /125 /100 /75 /65 /50 /25 Meals

  • Each plan allows you a fixed number of meals that can be used for the entire summer period. Swipe Plans can also be used for a Meal-to-Go in Holloway.

  • Any unused meals will expire after August 23 and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What You Need to Know About the Summer Meal Plans

All meal plans will be accessed through finger scanning as in the academic year. Swipe meal plans are for use at any meal period at Holloway Dining Hall (with your ID card). Any unused meals at the end of the summer term (8/23/18) will expire and are nonrefundable.

Meal Plan Policy

Dining hall meal service begins May 21, 2018 and ends on August 23, 2018. Foods served are available on an "all you care to eat" basis and can't be taken out. Theft of food is grounds for disciplinary action. Removal of dining hall property is prohibited.

Lost ID Cards/ID Policy

Lost or stolen meal cards should be suspended or reported immediately to the Dining ID Office (603) 862-1821 during normal hours. Only the balance of meals and Cat's Cache on the card at the time it is suspended can be protected. No temporary cards will be issued. There is a $25 fee to replace a lost, stolen or damaged photo ID card and a $15 fee to replace a lost, stolen or damaged non-photo dining card. Until your ID card is replaced, you will not have access to your balance of meals or Cat's Cache while your card is inactivated. Your University ID card is strictly nontransferable. The owner of the ID card is responsible for its security and proper use and subject to a $25 fine for its unauthorized use.


Refunds will be granted only upon official withdrawal from the University. Requests for refunds for any other reason may be made at the Dining/ID Office through a written petition.  Refunds for swipe plans will be based on the number of meals remaining. Meals eaten will be charged at the highest prevailing per meal price.
