We prepare students to be the next generation of innovators, problem solvers and communicators. With an emphasis on critical thinking, written and oral communication, teamwork and ethical decision making, our academic experience empowers students with the cross-cutting skills most highly valued by employers. Beyond the classroom, our students apply their knowledge in real-world settings – securing competitive internships, conducting federally funded research and pursuing international experiences critical to thriving in today’s globalized and interdependent world. With over 45 programs of study – spanning the social and behavioral sciences, fine and performing arts, humanities and education – we produce the talent that is helping public, private and non-profit organizations meet the grand challenges of today and tomorrow.
